Philip B Silver Spring , MD December 18, 2014 Broken microwave handle It was an easy fix. I simply removed the microwave door lining with a putty knife, which gave me access to the handle's two screws. I unscrewed and removed the remnants of the broken handle and then fastened the new handle in place. The only trouble I encountered involved the two replacement screws that came with the new handle. After trying to screw them into place, I discovered that they were too two long. I used the existing screws instead. 8 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
