Removed oven door by simply lifting it off of the hinges. New models of most stoves have two screws easily accessible from inside the oven door, but this older stove required the entire inner part of the oven door to be disassembled and the interior glass removed before the two screws that attach the handle can be accessed. Make sure to note how the door comes apart because it can be quite puzzling to put the door back together, especially for someone inexperienced with this repair,
