Replaced the failed switch with a new switch. Original switch part was no longer available and your rep gave me a replacement All is working. It is still a 30 year old machine, but it works fine and so far I prefer it to the newer machines with many unwanted government mandates. The tub would not spin without the lid switch engaged.
