Removed 1 screw that held ice enclosure in place. Slid enclosure out until motor electrical wiring harness was taught. Reached behind enclosure and unplugped motor wiring harness from refrigerator wall. Removd enclosure from refrigerator. Unplugged the 3 individual wires from the motor to the solenoid. Noted where the wires connected so you I could reconnect when mouthed in the new enclosure. Removed auger from the motor shaft using locking needle nose pliers to hold motor shaft and a screw driver to loosen the auger on the shaft. Unscrewed the auger and removed from the motor shaft. Removed the motor from the enclosure by loosening the 4 screws holding the motor. Removed the lifter mechanism by loosening two screws. Removed the solenoid by loosening 2 screws. Reversed the above process to install new ice enclosure into the refrigerator. Total time took about 20 minutes.
