The starter kit included the parts I needed to make the repair which took about 15 minutes to do. Most of which was trying to decipher the instruction sheet. Included in the kit were some wire connectors, shrink tubes and other related misc. electrical do-dads, which addressed the requirement of having to splice in the new (shorter) wiring harness to the original longer one. Let me tell you- I really like following instructions "to the letter" and using any/all new parts I'm provided- but I gave up with this one- and ended up just wiring the new harness to the old one using standard screw on wire nuts wrapped w/electrical tape. Maybe it was the fact that this is our garage fridge and it was freezing cold in there, had something to do with it. Seemed like the instructions were in some regards overcomplicated- and in others, vague. Example being- It addressed how to attach the wires if your (existing) wire colors were blue and red- but not if they were both white. Which of course mine were. It showed a picture of harness w/two white wires but no comment on how they needed to be connected. Figured it either didn't matter- and with only a 50/50 chance of burning the house down went with it. Did the repair about two weeks ago- running fine/no issues. Hero to the wife and kids.
