I removed the front of the dishwasher and the cover for the control panel and found the broken part. Took a chance online googling " on off button Bosch and part of the model number". Up popped a picture of just what we needed and that photo leg to Appliance Parts. 4 days later we had the part in hand and it was a relatively easy installation. $35 total cost with shipping instead of a visit by a pro that would have been a minimum of $190 or purchasing a new dishwasher for hundreds more!
