We noticed the overlay on the range had raised areas when we moved in! We then realized we were unable to get the oven going because when we pushed one button, the raised part of the overlay would come in contact with other buttons. We ordered the part and was very easy to install. Just be careful because there are two stickers on the control board...the control pad and the overlay.
