We ordered the dryer timer that corresponded to our Maytag clothes dryer based on the symptom/problem. This website has Q&A that helped me be certain I identified the problem correctly. That was a big help too! The part came quicker than I thought it would and it was super simple to install even though our part looked a tad bit different (easier to do actually than the video showed). Put in some clothes,set it on a timed dry cycle and voila! It worked like a new dryer. (At first I thought it wasn't working because it went longer than 40 minutes but our dryer dries for a specified time and then goes into a cool down cycle.) We knew it was working when we heard the end of cycle buzzer. Yay! The dryer part was worth every cent! This is the second time we've ordered from Applicance Parts Pros.
