Kenmote elite dishwasher dead display. No power. No response from key pad. Went down list of things. Replaced thermal fuse even thought my continuity test checked out. Replaced main control board next. Did noticed a slight discoloration in one spot on board and was extremely hot to touch at that spot. With new board same problems persisted. Order key pad input contro panel next. Now dishwasher works. I'm certain main board shorted out and then shorted keypad controlled. It's crazy keypad cost more than main board. But with a totally dead unit diagnosing and repair was difficult. Actual replacing parts was with ease.i just aspect $350 to repair a 3 year old dishwasher that was only 729$ new.
Diagnostic on this repair was longest and hard. Actual parts replacement was easy.
