Polly H Glen Allen , VA November 11, 2014 Appliance: Model GE WASHER The control knob spun freely without engaging to select cycle I pulled off the retaining clip with pliers then removed the old knob and timer dial. I replaced all the parts with the new ones and used pliers to reinstall the clip.
