This is the second time in 3 years that I have replaced the control panel to fix the problem. This time, the symptoms were identical to the first time. When you would try to change a setting, the buttons were inoperable. The only fix is to replace the control panel.
I ordered the part, installed it, and within 15-30 minutes, the dishwasher was working perfectly once again.
