Cover-Ice Route assembly was exactly what I needed. The process of replacing the unit has been described multiple times: I used a slight modification (step 7)
1. Unscrew the Phillips screw-left of the Ice Route
2. Use the flat screwdriver at two edges of the display unit to remove it
3. Move water hose out of the way
4. Use Philips to unscrew two screws holding the ice route
5. Unplug the ice route assembly and remove it.
6. Removing the old defective Cover-Ice Route is usually easy (using brute force). Installing the new one is not
7. Remove the rubber lid from the new plastic assembly that you are installing. You can practice on the old one. Now you have Cover-Ice Route Assy that is much easier to maneuver and install. The spring in my assembly was so strong that it hurt my fingers to handle it. Without the rubber it worked out much better.
8. Put the rubber cover back after installation and repeat everything in the reverse order
