Took a educated guess after reading online as to what the issue was, so I just replaced this part.
One thing I would recommend is that in the instructions, that you have to wait 30~ minutes after install to see if compressor turns on as mine started in defrost mode (had me worried for a while).
This needs to be in bold letters, but all said I am very happy I was able to get it repaired.
