Easy repair - preventative in my case... but just a word about the instructions for the generic replacement timer: Whirlpool tried very hard to make them clear but missed the target slightly by first focusing on the schematic. While that might be the only way to be certain you're configuring the replacement timer correctly, the practical way is to simply look at the color of the wiring at the connector and match it against what is shown inside the booklet.
