A few months again my wife and I decided a DIY project of trying to figure out why there was metal filings in our wash. We have an eight year old LG Washer. We completely disassembled the machine to find the damaged parts. It was the Spider that was a casting and poorly manufactured. While we were already there we decided to replace the bearings and seals. Glad we did. After following the more than helpful videos from ApplianceParts PRO we re-assembled the washer. After the first wash we heard a knocking sound. Waited a few weeks to see if it would go away. HAHAHA don't kid yourself it never goes away. So again we removed the covers to explore again. This time we determined the shocks were making all the noise, Replaced them and all is running well. LG Life is Good.
