Went first to the mfgrs website to locate the problem. Looked at their parts page at the exploded diagram, then removed the control knob and determined it was worn beyond use, and looked for replacement parts. The mfgrs site put the parts cost at over $20 excluding shipping so I shopped some and found this site where the cost was just over $8 and included shipping. Ordered the parts I needed and they were here in just a couple of days, installed in ten minutes, and my washer running shortly after. A simple repair made easy with the help of Appliance Parts Pros. Thanks for the help. Will use you again if needed.
