Do-It-Yourself Story

Tried 2 other parts before figuring out it was the digitron. Took the unit out of the wall and placed it on the kitchen table. Removed the case with a cordless screwdriver. I disconnected the wires from the capacitor because I heard a charge can be held and did not want to risk being shocked. I removed a few screws to gain access to the front panel. Unscrewed the digitron and disconnected the wire connector then screwed the new one in place. Plugged the connector and screwed everything back together. Very, very easy.
