How to replace Dishwasher Door Hinge Cable Assembly. Replaced both (right and left) springs and ropes (hinge cable assemblies). This required the water supply and drain hose to be disconnected. It was not necessary to disconnect the power supply - there was sufficient wire to pull the machine out without disconnecting. Remove the side panels and old parts. Install new parts.
