Ultimately it was thermal fuse that fixed it. I used star Allen style wrench (T10) for only tool. For my kitchen aide model KUDS30IXSS3 make sure you take all the star screws out the 4 long ones on top of door and 3 small ones each side take whole front panel of door intros panel off so that control panel plastic clips don't break. I broke mine by trying to take only the 4 big screws out and control panel doesn't come off very easy they will break. It's not a huge deal it still works fine just panel not as tight as it should be no one knows but me. I tried panel first that didn't fix it then I pulled the thermal fuse out and pulled fuse out of contacts tested continuity and there was none. Put new fuse in and dishwasher works perfectly now. Shipping was super fast! Ordered control panel Friday morning at 1am part came on standard shipping by fed-ex next day Saturday at 11am!! Thermal fuse ordered on Sunday afternoon 2pm also standard shipping and it came in two days on Tuesday morning fed-ex at 9am!! Set up return for control panel was smooth and sending that back for refund . Couldn't be more pleased with all the help. Plus I got to cancel my $107 service call from repair man just to come take a look at problem!!! All in all cost me $28. Took me only 8 minutes to replace fuse it was my 3rd time taking door off but after u do it once it's very easy. Hope this helps some one.
