Judith G Chula Vista , CA December 23, 2016 The door handle on my front loading washer broke It seemed like a small thing, but it was very annoying. And it felt like eventually the bottom part would break also and then we wouldn't be able to open the door to the washer at all. That's the problem with front loading versus a normal washer where you just lift the door on top. Anyway, I was shocked to see the part was $62, but it was even more through the manufacturer. The part came quickly, and with a philips screw driver I had the old one off and the new one on in less than five minutes. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
