I would start my LG washing machine and a couple of minutes into the cycle it showed a de code. I’d open and close the door again and sometimes it would start up but mostly the de code reappeared. Watched the YouTube video. Very helpful. Ordered a new switch. Replaced it in 5 minutes. Hardest part was pulling the metal around the rubber again. Got an extra person to help and it was done. Phew. Worth doing it yourself and not hard.
