Removed tiny plastic retainer at inside top corner of the door next to hinge (pops out with screw driver). Lift door out of place. Using a flat screwdriver, pry the black plastic trim off the inside of the door (the piece where the lever sticks through. Carefully remove lever from it’s spot, notice the way the spring is attached. Fix spring in place on new lever, and slide in place. Pop the plastic back on, and reattach the door.
