Problem was a broken plastic piece in the control panel. To repair, the cover had to be removed which required buying a set of security torq drivers (about $3). Remove 2 philips screws and unclip two wires and it was out. The piece which releases the door latch had to be gently forced into the new panel. The only tricky part of the repair was that the actual contols are on a plastic sheet which is glued to the plastic contol panel assembly. Using a razor knife I was able to carefully peel off the cover. I carefully aligned it and pressed it on the new piece. the old adhesive worked fine to hold it to the new piece. Reassemble and test and the microwave was good to go. Lack of instructions from
