I replaced the motor purchased from appliance pro after a service co told me it would take 7 days to get part and estimated 300 to 400 to repair. The fix was easy if you have basic tool skills and someone to help move the machine. I used a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers my iPhone for pic just in case. Step one drain the machine at the bottom drain hose near the filter, remove filter. Turn off water hot and cold, disconnect both. I capped both inlets but not necessary . Move machine so it can be tipped backwards. I used a dolly to make the pivot easier ,tilt machine on its back. Have some towels under to catch any leaking water . Ok the filter cover should already be removed, remove the inner cover , . now take some pictures of wires on both pumps and the position the pump being replaced. It will go on in several positions. Remove wires from both pumps again make sure you have taken pictures or written down where they go. Un clip assembly from machine pull down the assembly with a twist to access the mount screws to the pump.Remove the 3 screws and pull off the motor. Remove the motor cover and install on the new pump, place back the new motor on the assembly and install the screws. Reposition assembly back in the washer. Make sure the drain hose is back in place. Install drain cover , hook back the large hose and clamp the wires to both pumps Look at picture to make sure you have them right. . Tip washer back to normal hook back up and test a short cycle , watch for leaks . Return back to service. This took me about 30 minutes start to finish. Saved me about 300.00 and not having to wait for the repair guy or hear my wife ask when the washer will be ready.
