So I ordered the drain pump and check valve as suggested.
Pulled the drain hose off the sink drain, used a shop vac to suck the water out of the dishwasher
via the drain hose. Once the water was removed
I blew back into the hose to check valve. It sealed, could not blow into hose. Removed and replaced
drain pump. Started a cycle, ended the cycle to check for draining.
I could hear the pump buzz AND the swishing sound of water being
pumped out. When it stopped, opened the door and verified...ZERO
water remained. Super easy fix!!
