Ordered a dryer timer and dryer timer knob, parts delivered as promised and on time. Used a battery operated drill and a bit to remove the back of the dryer where the timer was located. The hardest part was removing the screw that held the timer because of the angle where the screw was located. Used a bit that fit the screw and hand unscrewed it. Removed the wires attached to the old timer one at a time and plugged them in on the new timer as I went. Attached new timer in place and put the timer knob on and then tested the dryer. It worked!! Reattached the back cover.
