Carlson P Cathedral City , CA January 07, 2022 Dryer drum didn't turn After first thinking the issue was just a broken drive belt, once I tried to put on a new one I realized the outer lip of the motor pulley had sheared off from years of fatique. With the use of your excellent on-line videos I was able to complete the repairs and get the dryer up and running. Of course, it's never quite as easy as the videos seem. You drop a few screws and spend ten minutes looking for them. Threading the drive belt isn't quite as intuitive as you the video. Things don't quite snap back into place without some experimentation and swearing. And holy-moly, the blower assembly really was full of lint, which I cleaned out. But it's done now and the dryer is working great. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours
