I ordered a new heating element thinking that was the problem. I didn't think to try the continuity test before ordering. New one arrived but this wasn't the problem. I then ordered the high temp sensor. I also took this time to change the vent hose and clean the tube going outside. Replacement of the parts was a snap. It now dries like a new machine.
