My GE gas dryer is an older model. I looked at the parts for wear and used my multi-meter and checked the parts in an attempt to determine which parts had failed. It appears the coils were the problem. I also noticed what appeared to be a hairline crack on the igniter. I ordered these parts and the flame sensor. Replacing these parts was surprisingly easy. I thoroughly cleaned the interior of the dryer. This old dryer performs like new drying heavy items like jeans and blankets in about
