Peter K Newton , MA August 31, 2015 Dryer would not start start button would not push in Pulled start button off and since the cover was plastic, I could see the solenoid inside. I guessed that it was broken and ordered another from ApplianceParts. It was a simple repair, just bold the new switch in. Be sure to remember to put the white push button on before you bolt the switch back in place and attach the instrument panel to the dryer (I did not and had to disassemble the panel to insert the white push button. Very easy repair. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
