The squeaking was caused by a totally worn out Rear Drum Bearing. I had never worked on a dryer before, and wasn't sure exactly what was wrong. I figured it was my drive belt or some kind of roller bearings. I started by researching parts, looking for a replacement belt. I watched the excellent videos on Appliance Parts Pros website. There were a few minor differences, like screw locations and electrical connectors, but the fundamentals were there. The job was not very difficult but there was a learning curve. I took the opportunity to inspect everything & completely vacuum out the inside of the dryer. My drive belt was also totally shot but was still intact. I replaced that, as well. My dryer is now whisper quiet and runs very smoothly. Appliance Parts Pros shipped out my parts the same day that I ordered and I had them in rural Maine in two days. I could not be more satisfied!
