I called a local "smart team" they charged me $100 to tell me what i told them was wrong and then proceeded to estimate a $420 repair cost. I decided to purchase a new one. Their store refused to sell me just the washer (the stacking device was exclusive for that discontinued model) i was looking at $1500 minimun to replace the stackable washer and dryer. I found your site and a you tube instructional video of how to replace the parts so i took a leap of faith and ...my washer is working like new! total cost: less than $300. My washer has two control boards so i had to replace both. the display control board and this other one.
