I spoke to an online rep and found that I could get the part I needed for less, by ordering it for the SS stove in place of the part for my black stove. The difference in color was hardly significant and it worked just fine. I put the part in myself and eliminated the cost of the "repair" person. I saved myself over $200. I don't understand why the same part for a black stove is so different than that same part for a SS stove?? Does not make sense, but I'm glad the option I took was less expensive. Guess what ladies, I'm a woman.!
