The impeller had become detached from the drain pump motor shaft. I ordered a new drain pump, unplugged the washer, removed the back of the washer, disconnected the drain pump mount, removed the 4 drain pump cap screws, removed the two electricity wires from the drain pump, plugged them into the new pump, attached the pump cap, re-attached the motor to the drain pump mount, returned the back of the washer, plugged it in, turned it on to tested it and it was good to go.
