Moved the front gasket out of my way by removing the retaining ring. To remove the retaining ring, you just pry out on the spring with a flathead screwdriver, and it comes off very easily and then you push the gasket out of your way. Remove the 2 screws holding the door latch in place and pull it out enough to release the wiring harness. Install the new door latch by reversing the process.
I watched the do-it-yourself video and it was very easy!
