Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. Then the F10 code came up and it wouldn't stop beeping until I unplugged it. I figured the electronics/circuit board was probably bad and ordered a replacement. I was confused about what part to order. The parts list includes "Control Panel" and "Clock - Timer". Turns out the control panels are the glass panel on the front of the stove and the Clock -Timer sits behind the control panel. This is a bad part naming if you ask me. Control Panel sounds like it would contain the circuit board. It does not. The Clock-Timer is the circuit board. So I replaced the Clock-Timer plugged it in and everything worked perfectly. Even the broiler came back to life. It all came crashing down when after having the oven on for 20 minutes the F10 error came back on. Talked to the appliance repair guy we usually call and he said, "Well the only other thing there is to the stove is the temperature probe. Back on the AppliancePartsPros website I went and ordered a temperature probe. Now mind you I'm ordering the part on Monday and Christmas and dinner for 8 is on Wednesday two days hence. I get the temperature probe the next day. Put it in. Everything works. Cooked a 10lb roast over three hours an the temp held steady the whole way. All systems go y'all. DIY'd it and saved my self at least a hundred bucks. Thank you APP's.com
