The Samsung front load washer would not spin, showed a code and manipulating the inner drum lead me to believe either main shaft or bearings had failed. Followed the videos to disassemble the washer and found the center hub of the spider shaft completely disintegrated. Not difficult with some basic engineering knowledge but can seem daunting to track and label all the screws and keep the rebuild sequence in order. Then the fun started. I called Monday after lunch to order the shaft and 6 connector bolts. Tuesday morning at 1030 my package had arrived. That is just some unbelievably fast shipping. Wednesday morning I start reassembly and with just a few hiccups along the way (align the heating element, reattach the springs and shocks, reattach ALL connections, turn on the water) I test run the washer successfully by 1100. No leaks counts as success! So I run a full load today and again no problems, very happy with my results. Again, not for the faint of heart, parts are heavy, edges are all sharp, must have a variety of shop tools, metrics, etc. and the will and time to work through this type repair in short order. Do not let it sit, focus on disassembly, diagnosis of the problem, order parts and reassemble before you forget how, or record yourself. Use the videos available on the interweb, good luck.
