From what I read, the F1 error code for most ovens is either the sensor in the oven or the electronic pad/clock. I looked at the sensor and it looked like it was the original so I bought it for $25 + shipping and got it in 2 days. It's a simple install. Always turn the gas off before working on gas appliances. Then turn the power off (I pulled the plug), take the back panel off, unscrew 2 screws in the back of the inside of the oven, disconnect the sensor from the wire, connect the new sensor to the wire, 2 screws and turn the power back on. No F1 error code! I turned the gas back on and tried the stove and oven. All worked! I put the back panel back on and slid the oven back into place. It was only the 3rd appliance I've ever fixed and it was easy.
