Magic Chef wall oven; F3 fault code during cleaning cycle occurred 2hr into a 3hr cycle. I hit some buttons on the keypad, then F1 occurred. I left the cycle complete, then checked the bake and broil still worked, and they did for the quick 5 minute test I did. A few days later the oven would not heat up for the bake cycle, although broil still worked. There were no fault codes. I checked the igniter glowbar first but it seemed ok. When I hit the bake button, the 'on' light lit up and the preheat light lit up for 2 seconds and went off. I figured something was telling the controller to turn off or that the oven temp was achieved. I thought the sensor might be bad since I got the F3 during the clean cycle. I tried to pull the sensor out to check it but I could not get to the connector so I screwed it back in. Then I got the F3 code. I checked the sensor wires at the controller board and figured it was an open sensor so I ordered it. When it arrived, I just kept carefully working the sensor wires through the oven wall holes to reach the connector. (I really did not want to remove the oven for this repair!!). I had to push the insulation out of the way. Finally I got to the connector, installed the new sensor, and oven is working great.
