Recently we put our oven on Cleaning Mode but after the process the lock would not unlock. So reading some forums on the net I had to break the lock to open it. The locking system failed during the oven clean process and froze the lock into the locking position. Then I seeked the net for some answers and found applicance parts video on youtube with a similar issue. So I ordered the part and the rest is history. The fix went well, when the part arrived it did not look like the orginial part exactly. So I was worried it was the wrong part. But after looking at the connections and the lock it still connected with no problem and solved the issue.
