Replaced just the small LED display, not the whole motherboard. Very easy, took just 15 minutes, including cleaning behind the range (nice to do that once every few years!).
Watch the black plastic tabs on the LED display holder bracket, they break easy. Once snapped on me, so I removed the entire holder bracket (4 more screws) and then easily pushed the LED display out without breaking the other tab. One working tab is enough to hold the display in place properly.
The tricky part is flipping up the little locking tab on the ribbon cable from the motherboard. Everything else is simply a few screws and standard push/pull wiring connectors.
