Terry S Rocklin , CA March 14, 2015 Appliance: Model GSD26C4EXT02 Would freeze in refer section The refer freezer is a Whirlpool less then three years old. The part I needed was readily available and received it in four days. I thought it would take at least 7-9 days. I will be using you exclusivly when I need parts for my appliances. I need to say something about Whirpool. The part I needed has a plastic door assy that goes from fridge to freezer. Plastic does not hold up well in extremely cold conditions. I guess whirlpool engineers either don't care or would rather save a few pennies by manufacturing a part that will not last more then a couple of years. The average price of this inferior part is over one hundred dollars. I got it on sale at Appliance parts for around sixty five dollars. Is a OEM part and very easy to replace. Wonder what will go out next on this substandard refrigerator freezer?? 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
