Refrigerator was running warm, about 65 and freezer was running below 0, around -6. At first, I contacted an appliance repairman who showed me that my freezer defroster was not working properly, as there was a lot of ice buildup in front of the defroster unit. The repairman replaced the thermostat and the refrigerator seemed to work for about 2 weeks until the ice buildup in front of the defroster unit came back and the refrigerator was running warm again. After reading a few articles I decided to change the Temperature Sensor. Although there are multiple Temperature Sensors in the unit, I only replaced the one in the freezer that monitors the defroster unit. The Temperature Sensor was relatively easy to replace once you access it. It was time consuming to access it because I have a bottom freezer unit.
