My washer would beep nine times then pause for a few seconds then beep again. To remedy this before ordering a new control board, I had to remove the top cover of the washer, keep the power on and heat the control board with a hair dryer. Once the board was nice and hot, I would unplug the washer and plug it back in. This allowed the error code to be removed and the beeping to stop to where I could use the washer. I replaced the washer control board and all is well again!
