Leslie L St.Clairsville , OH September 06, 2015 Ge microwave quit working control panel had no power My husband took it apart. He found thermostat burnt out. It appeared to be loose from the get go. Of course he is knowledgeable w electronics. He followed safety directions. Checked different sensors to also make sure they worked as well. He decided to have me check online and I remembered this site. I was able to enter model number and get parts diagram and ordered the correct thermostat. An $11 part plus s&h saved us over $100 for repair at service center or $200 for an exact replacement! Again, my husband is very capable of this sort of repair. If you are not, I wouldn't recommend trying to repair a microwave. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
