I am a woman, pretty handy if I say so myself, but had never fixed an oven. When the heating element broke in the oven, I thought OMG, now what??? I found a YouTube on how easy it was and when the part arrived (and it arrived quicker than I thought), it was so easy. UNPLUG the oven first, and oh, replacing it was a synch. It took me longer to clean behind the oven and clean the sides which had huge buildups of grease, than it took to replace the heating element. So simple. Piece of cake...which now I can bake again and am happy about that!!!
