Replaced the high limit safety thermostat. Ordering was easy, and the part came quickly. The video on the web site was helpful, although I was not able to follow the instructions fully. Unless you have super skinny, long arms, you cannot reach under and around the dryer tub to reach the belt tension arm. I ended up having to remove the side panel of the dryer to remove the belt from the motor. Replacing the thermostat was simple enough. At this point, it seems to have corrected the problem. Other than the difficulty with removing and replacing the drive belt. it was a simple enough process. Lots of sharp edges inside, so wear protective gloves and a long sleeve shirt.
