I bought pretty much every part that could cause the noise plus the belt as well. Figured, since I had it apart, $50 to replace everything in a 20 year old dryer made sense. Word of warning on disassembly if you are following the video. My older Maytag's disassembly does NOT start with popping up the top. I almost bent an internal bracket trying that. My model starts with 2 nuts at the bottom of the lower front panel. Look for those first. They are at an angle, so I had to tilt back the dryer to access them. Remove that panel first, then remove the 2 nuts that hold the top front panel and THEN, you can remove two nuts that secure the top. Easily done. After that, you can follow the steps in the video. Also, you must have snap ring pliers that includes a head with thinner pins (first one I bought did not have the thinner pins).
