After much thought I determined that warm air was getting into the ice bin (bucket). The question was how? It occurred to me that the only way for warm air to get in was through the ice door assembly (flapper); also was it simply a worn flapper or was the spring weak causing the flapper not to close tightly. Since I was going to take it apart I might as well replace both to be on the safe side. The instructional video on how was very clear and accurate. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.
