Cubes got smaller, then none. I previously replaced the water pump. Using the "insulated paper clip" as a jumper, AND, press the freezer light button to turn the circuit back on, L-V turned on the pump. Hooray, pump still works. I didn't diagnose exactly what stopped working with the ice maker. I kept it simple and just got this replacement. The repair is really easy, but as I can't fit inside the freezer around the drawers (Whirlpool, bottom drawer is the freezer), I had to take off the door and remove the drawers. So the freezer got a clean up, and the tracks got some lube. Rolling great with the sweet music of ice hitting the bin.
